How much baggage can I bring on a VIA Rail train?

Our baggage services vary depending on the train and route. There are three ways to check the baggage allowance on your train:

  1. When booking online, you can verify:
    • if checked baggage service is offered on your train,
    • how many items you can check, as well as size and weight restrictions,
    • the costs for transporting pets or outdoor sporting equipment.
