Our Trains
Beyond the rails
We have a fleet of more than 450 train cars and locomotives to get you to your destination. Our trainsets are designed and equipped according to the route taken and classes offered, so you can enjoy amenities such as a cozy bed on board.
In 2022, VIA Rail began to deploy a new generation of trains on the Quebec City-Windsor corridor, transforming the travel experience for Canadians.

While we remain committed to our original cars, major fleet renovations are underway as part of the Heritage Program. This project will allow us to provide you with an enhanced experience.
