What types of payment are accepted online? 

If you're purchasing tickets or products online, you must use a credit or a debit card (not all debit cards are accepted). When purchasing your tickets at a VIA Rail ticket counter, you can pay using cash, credit or debit cards.

You can also pay for tickets with a VIA Rail gift card or by redeeming your VIA Préférence points.
