Due to maintenance work by METROLINX, the railway infrastructure owner, trains 84 and 87 have been replaced by buses on March 9-10.
Due to a railway infrastructure maintenance, certain trains will run on a different route on March 23 and 24 and there will be no service to and from Oakville station.
The schedule has been modified for all trains travelling on the detour.
Trains 71, 73, 75, 79, 83 and 97: schedule adjusted for arrival/departure at all stations (except departure time from Toronto).
Trains 70, 72, 76, 78, 82 and 98: schedule adjusted for arrival in Toronto only.
Thanks to our partners GO Transit and Amtrak, you can take advantage of more departures from Toronto to Niagara Falls.
- Monday to Friday: up to 13 departures per day
- Saturday and Sunday: up to 10 departures per day

ID requirements for boarding train 97 (Toronto – Niagara Falls – New York)
If you are travelling to a city located in the United States, you must present a VALID PASSPORT with your Amtrak or VIA Rail ticket before boarding.
If you are travelling to a city located in Canada, you must have in your possession a valid VIA Rail ticket and:
- 1. One (1) piece of valid government-issued identification with photograph, showing your name and date of birth.
- 2. Two (2) pieces of valid government-issued identification without photograph, showing the same name and your date of birth on at least one of the two pieces of ID.
Travellers may be subject to random ID verifications on board.
