Journalist, author, researcher, columnist, idea generator, and serial questioner, Marie-Julie Gagnon has been active in the media world for 30 years. She has collaborated with numerous media outlets here and abroad, in addition to publishing some fifteen books solo, in duo, and in group, including the essays "Que reste-t-il de nos voyages?" (Éditions de l'Homme, 2019) and "Voyager mieux, est-ce vraiment possible?" (Québec Amérique, 2023). She also co-wrote "Voyages de rêve en train - 50 itinéraires de rêve" (Éditions Ulysse, 2020) and was a finalist in the "Travel Media Professional" category at the Tourism Industry Association of Canada's Canadian Tourism Awards in 2024. She never tires of discovering the world by rail!
