Our new trains have been designed to meet the highest standards of accessibility so more people can travel easily, comfortably and safely.

Wheelchair lifts

Every trainset has three cars with two wheelchairs each, for a total of six lifts per train. These lifts offer a seamless boarding experience to Economy and Business class passengers.

  • Adjustable tables that can be raised or lowered
  • Jump seats for support person (optional)
  • More space for service dogs
  • Attendant call button within arm's reach
  • Nearby, dedicated baggage towers
  • Customized ergonomic leather seats, with two armrests and an adjustable headrest
  • One USB and one 120V outlet per seat
  • Two USB and two 120V outlets per seat

Accessible washrooms

There are three large, fully accessible washrooms on every train.

They include:

  • More floor space to easily maneuver wheelchairs
  • Vertical and horizontal grab bars
  • A very wide, push-button activated door
  • Emergency call buttons on both sides of toilet for easy access
  • An attendant call button
  • An audio-visual system for announcements
  • Braille signage and embossed buttons
  • Touchless faucet and soap dispenser

Car doors

  • Automatic, contact-free inner doors between vestibules and seat zones with top and bottom captors to detect support dogs and wheelchairs
  • Wide, airtight platforms with a smooth ground surface, designed for an easy and comfortable transition between cars

Information system

  • Onboard announcements available in audio and visual formats
  • Screens in every car that display the onboard announcements
