How many VIA Préférence points do I need to redeem for my trip? 

The number of points you need for a trip is based on the published fare at the time of booking. So, just as regular fares vary, the points required for your trip will also vary depending on several factors, including the origin and destination, day of the week, season, how far in advance you book, and the fare selected.

To see how many points are needed for your trip, book online as usual and select VIA Préférence points as a method of payment on the “Review & Pay” screen. The number of points displayed will be for all passengers in your reservation.
