The new Commuter ePass

VIA introduces the new Commuter ePass, a more convenient version of its paper Commuter Pass. Get yours on line and book your tickets in just a few clicks. Then pick them up at a self-service ticketing kiosk or at the station’s ticket counter before your train’s departure. The ePass entitles you to 20 one-way trips (or 10 round trips) and is valid for 30 days, starting on the first day you use it.

Paper Commuter Pass

Commuter passes are extremely handy. You can choose between two convenient passes, both of which are valid within your chosen zone in southern Ontario or southern Québec.

  • The 20 one-way trip (or 10 round-trip) Commuter Pass is valid for 30 days, starting on the first day you use it.
  • The Monthly Commuter Pass is valid for unlimited travel during one calendar month, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the last day.

Choose from over 20 zones!

You can choose the zone that suits you from among over 20 zones available, including:

  • Montréal – Drummondville
  • Toronto – Cobourg
  • Toronto – Kitchener
  • Toronto – Brantford
  • Toronto – St. Catharines

You can travel between all the destinations located inside the zone covered by your Commuter Pass. For example, if you choose the Montréal – Drummondville zone, you are also permitted to embark or disembark at stations located between Montréal and Drummondville, such as Saint-Lambert.
