TEMPORARY SCHEDULE CHANGE ON VIA RAIL’S SUDBURY - WHITE RIVER SERVICE

Work Program on Rails from May 30th to June 7th

MONTRÉAL, May 29, 2014- VIA Rail Canada (viarail.ca) would like to advise travellers of a schedule change to Eastbound trains (#186), travelling from White River to Sudbury, due to work which will be done to the infrastructure from May 30th to June 7th, 2014 by CP, the railway owner. Trains operating on May 30th, June 1st, June 4th and June 6th will be leaving White River, O’Brien, Girdwood, Franz, Lochalsh, Missanabie, Dalton and Bolkow stations one hour earlier than scheduled. Some delays of one to two hours may be experienced by Westbound trains (#185) between these same stations on May 31st, June 3rd and June 5th.
