VIA Rail and the Canadian Auto Workers union Reach Agreement

Strike Averted

Montréal, June 14, 2013 – VIA Rail Canada (viarail.ca) announced that it has reached an agreement with the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union, which represents some 2,200 service, sales office and maintenance personnel. VIA Rail will continue to operate according to its regular schedule.
