What is the difference between Reset vs Update password?

All passwords created before November 18, 2023 must be reset due to VIA’s reservation system upgrade. If this is your first time signing in since November 2023, you must update your password. We’ll send you an email with instructions.

 If you do not update your password, you will not be able to log in or access your upcoming trips and personal information.
