What should passengers do if their baggage is lost or stolen at the station?

Passengers who have lost a piece of baggage should contact VIA Rail’s Lost and Found department by calling 1 888 VIA-Rail (1 888 842-7245) or TTY 1 800 268-9503 (for hearing-impaired passengers). They may also report the incident at the ticket counter in the station.
Please note that VIA Rail is not liable for items that are lost or stolen in stations or on board its trains. Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
