Passengers can verify if checked baggage service is available by following these steps when booking online:
- Visit the VIA Rail booking engine.
- Enter the departure and arrival stations.
- Select travel dates and click Search.
- A list of available itineraries will appear — passengers can choose their preferred departure.
- Baggage allowance information for the selected trip will be displayed at the Review stage of the booking process.
- The itinerary confirmation will also indicate whether checked baggage service is available.
