Toronto Botanical Garden kicks off a summer-long festival that features “Edible Summer,”, a celebration of local food and growing your own with an Italian Kitchen Garden designed by CityTV personality Frankie Flowers; a kid-friendly “Pizza Garden”; a showcase of designer birdhouses; “Taste of the Garden” with local chefs/authors; and Edible Herb Containers to inspire urban gardeners. Visit our 12 award-winning contemporary gardens located on the edge of the Don Valley Ravine in mid-Toronto. Free tours of the gardens are offered on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. from June through September. Group tours can be arranged by appointment.
