From Flowertown to Flower City
The city of Brampton, once known as the flower production capital of the British Empire, grew roses to grace the table of the Queen of England. Today, as Canada's Flower City, Brampton recaptures its "Flowertown" roots with more than 4,500 acres of beautiful parkland, 400 vibrant roadside gardens and lush carpet beds, and in the spring, one million daffodils and tulips for all to enjoy.
