Proudly standing as the nucleus of Dauphin, the CNR station, constructed in 1912, is one of Manitoba's finest pieces of railway architecture due to its impressive size, picturesque roofline, dormers, turrets and decorative brick and stonework. On the other side of the CNR station is CN Park, where flowerbeds are filled with species of prairie grasses and winding paths meander through the Park to Main Street.
