We know that your travel needs may differ from those of our clients in general. This section is for travellers who:

  • have a disability or a medical condition and would like information on our adapted services (accessibility, special meals and medication)
  • would like to take advantage of special services or make a special request (priority boarding, additional assistance)
  • must arrange travel under special circumstances (children travelling alone, occupy two seats)

Please note that the range of our special and adapted services may vary from one region to another, depending particularly on station facilities and train cars. Therefore, to help ensure that your your individual needs are met and that your trip is as comfortable and pleasant as possible, please:

  • book travel 48 hours or more in advance
  • call us to purchase your tickets at 1 888 VIA-RAIL (1 888 842-7245) or TTY 1 800 268-9503 (hearing impaired) or at one of our ticket counters at the station nearest you.
  • specify the special services you will require to the agent when booking.
