| Description | Opening Summer 2008: An array of contemporary gardens spanning nearly four acres are designed to educate and inspire the people of Toronto and its visitors. The gardens are open year-round and admission is free. TBG also offers a complete range of innovative indoor and outdoor learning experiences for all ages including programs, garden tours, nature day camps, field trips and an extensive horticultural library. The George and Kathy Dembroski Centre for Horticulture, renovated in 2005, features an energy-efficient sloping green roof and award winning ecologically conscious design. Shop TBG offers an extensive collection of gardening books and botanically-inspired home accents. |
