Pacific Rim Whale Festival

| Description | The villages of Tofino and Ucluelet, as well as the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, will be celebrating the migration of Pacific Grey whales along the west coast of Vancouver Island.
An estimated 22,000 whales make the journey from Mexico's Baja Peninsula to their summer feeding grounds near the Arctic. During the festival, free public viewing stations are available at Amphitrite Point Lighthouse in Ucluelet and at the Wickaninnish Centre in the Pacific Rim National Park. There are also whale watching excursions with local charter boats or floatplanes from Ucluelet or Tofino. |
