| Description |
Immerse yourself in the pastoral atmosphere of the last century by visiting this century-old estate covering 230 hectares and located in Gatineau Park. For almost 50 years, it was the summer home of William Lyon Mackenzie King, 10th Prime Minister of Canada. Visitors can stroll through this wooded haven along paths, visit the restored cottages or amble through the gardens and admire the picturesque collection of ruins that King had built. Interpretation guides, audiovisual presentations and interpretation panels present a picture of Canada as it was during the former Prime Minister's mandates.
