Select the "Interac Online" option when you are ready to pay for your purchases and you will be provided with a list of participating financial institutions. 2. Select your preferred financial institution. You will need to be registered for online banking. 3. Log in to online banking with your usual login ID and password. 4. Confirm the payment and you will be automatically re-directed to the VIA Rail web site. 5. Read and print your confirmation page. You will never be asked to give your PIN, or create a new password! Please note: Flex cards, purchased in the amount of your choice, are only available from ticket counters located in our stations. Redeeming a gift cardTake your gift card to a VIA Rail ticket counter to book train tickets for travel to any VIA destinations across Canada, as well as purchase travel passes, which offer guaranteed savings throughout the country. Please note: Gift cards are not valid for online purchases or purchases made on board the train. Check the balance of your gift cardOnce the card is activated, you can check the balance of your gift card by calling 1 888 VIA RAIL (1 888 842-7245) or online. You will be asked to quote or enter the 20-digit serial number appearing on the gift card. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Unused amounts will not be reimbursed. Please note: When checking the balance on your gift card, it may take more than 60 seconds for the page to load. Thank you for your patience. |
