Travel Agency Discount - AD75/50

Conditions

• Valid for travel from June 1st to December 14, 2010, and from January 6 to June 30, 2011, in most classes of service, subject to availability.
• Offer restricted to travel agents and tour operators. Travel agents must present their ACTA, IATAN, or UFTAA Travel Industry Identification when requested by VIA personnel, or in the case of tour operators, a letter of introduction typed on their company letterhead (photocopies will not be accepted). Ticket Voucher-Commercial Account or Virtual Credit Card cannot be used as payment. Tour Operators must book from a personal profile when booking online. A Tour Operator account cannot be used when booking AD75 and AD50 travel either online or through VIA’s telephone sales office.
• Misuse will result in suspension of VIA Rail reduced rate travel authorization.
• Valid on VIA Rail Canada network only.
• Bookings must be made within 21 days of, but no later than, 3 days prior to departure date, in the following classes and fare plans only:
          • For travel in Economy class: “Economy – supersaver fare”.
          • For travel in Business class: “Business – discounted fare”.
          • For travel in Sleeper or Sleeper Touring classes: any accommodations
             at a discounted fare plan, i.e. “Cabin for 2 – discounted fare”.
          • For travel in Touring class: “Touring”.

Space available on this special fare is limited and waiting lists will not be accepted.

• To obtain the ticket, this original certificate must be surrendered to a VIA Rail ticket agent at the time of ticket issuance.
• The AD50 ticket for a travel companion must be issued only in conjunction with an AD75 ticket and the itineraries of both tickets must be identical. In the case of a reservation in Sleeper class, holders of AD75/AD50 tickets must each reserve sleeping accommodations. If the space reserved is a cabin for 2, the travel companion must occupy the same cabin.
• Amount shown on ticket after discount is non-commissionable.
• The AD75 and AD50 cannot be combined with any other promotion or discount.
