Conditions for the "Osheaga - Save 50% with VIA Rail" offer

• Valid for a 50% discount on the adult regular fare in Economy class when you book a one-way or round trip to Montréal. There are no additional discounts for 60+, youth, students, or children.
• Applicable to new bookings only for travel completed between July 27 and August 5, 2010 (inclusive).
• Bookings must be made directly online at viarail.ca only, at least 3 days prior to departure and in Economy – supersaver fare class only. The number of seats available on this promotional fare is limited.
• Please note, when booking online, your ticket will be considered as having been purchased at the time of your transaction.
• Bookings are completely non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
• Tickets for these bookings cannot be issued at a self-service ticketing kiosk. Upon paper ticket issuance, your VIA agent will check to ensure that the destination of your one-way or round trip ticket is Montréal (which includes Dorval and Saint-Lambert stations). If the destination is not Montréal, your discount is invalid and the best available fare at the time of paper ticket issuance will apply.
• Cannot be combined with any other discount or e-coupon offers or with corporate or conference fares. It does not apply to charter service, to tickets issued using a pass (including, but not limited to, Canrailpass, BizPak or VIA 6 pak,) to tickets issued using employee rail passes, to VIA Préférence reward tickets, or to tickets issued by a travel agent or tour operator.

How to book online at viarail.ca

• Log in to your booking profile or create one prior to booking.
• Proceed with your booking as usual. Choose the Ecomony - supersaver fare in the "Select class and fare plan" drop-down menu for your chosen departure. The discount will not apply to travel booked in any other class.
• On the "Passengers Information" screen, select Other Special Discounts as the "Discount Type" and enter 11986 as the "Discount Code". No serial number is required.
• Your fare will be automatically recalculated to include the discount if your booking meets all conditions of the offer.
