AirConnect is VIA’s complimentary shuttle service between Montréal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport, located about twenty kilometres from downtown Montréal and VIA Dorval station. No stress, no hassles, no road congestion, no frantic hunt for parking spaces, and no driving in inclement weather... with AirConnect, you enjoy impeccable train service that includes a complimentary shuttle service between the Dorval train station and the airport.

• Take the train of your choice from Central Station in Montreal to Dorval. The train ticket costs only $12 + taxes and is bought at the station (cannot be booked online). It then includes t he free shuttle to the airport.
• This service is also offered in the opposite direction (Dorval-Montréal).

AirConnect is available for travellers coming from points east of Montréal or west of Dorval station. For our customers boarding a train west of Dorval, the shuttle service is included in the price of their ticket.

Yes, VIAPAQ Courier is VIA’s station-to-station transportation service of small packages and envelopes, through its extensive network of train operations and conveniently located stations in all major cities. Same-day and overnight services are available. All packages and envelopes handled under a single VIAPAQ Courier waybill will constitute one shipment.

VIA is strictly a passenger rail service and does not transport freight or cargo.

However, if you are interested in shipping small parcels or letters, you can take advantage of our VIAPAQ service.

Our diversified workforce is second to none. With an average of 20 years experience in rail car and locomotive repair, VIA's interior refurbishment experts, electricians, heavy duty repair mechanics, welders and certified car inspectors are ready to take on your train repair and maintenance projects.

Our workforce is complemented by state-of-the-art support facilities that include a truck shop with grit blast and component painting equipment, an electronics shop, an upholstery shop, an oil laboratory, and a vibration testing and instrument calibration facility.
