• Save 40% on the adult regular fare when you purchase an Economy class ticket for one-way or round trip travel between any two stations on the VIA Rail network.
• Valid for travel between September 22 and October 7, 2009 (inclusive), and between October 14 and December 14, 2009 (inclusive).
• Tickets can only be purchased online at viarail.ca and cannot be issued by travel agents or tour operators.
• Only one e-coupon per e-mail address.
• Applicable to new bookings only.
• Once purchased, tickets are subject to a service charge of $25 per direction for refund or exchange. Note that the serial number on your e-coupon cannot be reactivated and is null and void should you cancel your ticket.
• You do not have to surrender your e-coupon at the time of ticket issuance as control is completely automated.
• This offer applies to the adult regular fare only and cannot be combined with corporate, convention or other special fares. Not applicable to tickets purchased using a pass-type product, including, but not limited to, BizPak, Corridorpass, or Canrailpass; cannot be combined with an employee railway pass, with travel passes or tickets obtained free of charge in exchange for VIA Préférence points.
• If you already have tickets issued under another promotion and wish to exchange them to take advantage of this offer, any service charges applicable to your original purchase will be collected before your new tickets are issued.

• Log in to our online booking engine with your profile, or create one prior to booking.
• Choose your destination and travel dates.
• Choose Economy – Regular fare in the "Select class and fare plan" drop-down menu for your chosen departure. The discount is not applicable to any other fare.
• On the "Passengers Information" screen, select E-coupon in the "Discount Type" field.
• Enter 11786 as the "Discount Code".
• Enter the unique 9-digit serial number appearing on your e-coupon in the "Serial Number" field.
• Your fare will be automatically adjusted if your trip meets the conditions for this promotion.
