VIA Rail trains #1 and #2 cancelled between Edmonton and Winnipeg

Vancouver, October 18, 2017 – VIA Rail Canada (VIA Rail) wishes to inform its passengers that due to a derailment involving a freight train on the Wainwright Subdivision, in Alberta, trains operating between Edmonton and Winnipeg are cancelled. Normal service will resume Friday, October 20, 2017.

·         Train #02 scheduled at 20h30 from Vancouver  to Toronto : regular train service

Saturday, October 21, 2017

·         Train #01 scheduled at 22h00 from Toronto to Vancouver : regular train service
