Please rest assured that we understand how important it is for our passengers to get to their destination on time, especially on weekday mornings. We apologize for the inconvenience that may have been caused by recent delays on this train. On-time performance is extremely important to us, and we aim to follow the planned schedule. While VIA Rail does everything possible to ensure on-time performance, operational constraints beyond our control can occur and disrupt service despite our best efforts. The main causes affecting the on-time performance of our trains in the Québec City-Windsor corridor are related to railway traffic, the infrastructure and mechanical issues.
