Storm Watch: At VIA Rail Canada it’s business as usual

Montréal, March 12, 2014– Despite a winter storm affecting Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes, VIA Rail Canada’s operates according to its regular schedule. The Corporation encourages Canadians to use caution when travelling.

Information about train schedules will be updated (if necessary) on VIA Rail’s Facebook and Twitter pages @VIA_rail. Arrival and departure status information is available online for the Québec City - Windsor corridor at Reservia.VIARail.ca.

Furthermore, VIA Rail is currently offering a 50% off the Economy Plus adult fare (Economy class) or the adult Regular fare (Sleeper and Sleeper Plus classes) for travel across Canada up to June 15, 2014 inclusive. The sale ends March 16, 2014.
