Weather Forecast: No VIA Rail train cancellations or major delays expected

Montréal, February 14, 2014 – Despite an abundant snow fall in Eastern Canada, VIA Rail Canada’s trains have not been affected and there are no cancellations or major delays expected due to these February winter weather conditions. The Corporation continues to operate according to its regular schedule in the Québec City - Windsor corridor and in the Maritimes. VIA Rail encourages Canadians to use caution when travelling.

Furthermore, VIA Rail is extending its Valentine’s Day offer to get 50% off the Economy Plus adult fare (Economy class) for travel in the Québec City – Windsor corridor by June 15, 2014 inclusive. The offer ends February 17, 2014.
