Some VIA services affected in the event of CP strike

MONTREAL - VIA Rail Canada wishes to advise travellers that the following VIA train services in Ontario, which operate partially over CP infrastructure, would be affected in the event of a strike and shutdown of operations at CP, tentatively scheduled for midnight tonight:

Sudbury – White River
Toronto – Ottawa (Brockville – Ottawa portion only affected)

VIA is considering all possible options for trains that are affected, and where possible will either detour or replace by bus for a portion of the trip.

Details will be posted on viarail.ca as the situation evolves.
