VIA Rail Service between Montreal and Gaspé Maintained

VIA Rail Canada wishes to advise travellers that it has taken all necessary measures in order to maintain its service between Montreal and Gaspé following the fire that occurred at the Gaspé station on Tuesday, February 23^rd. 

A temporary shelter has been set up next to the station. This temporary shelter is heated and will be able to accommodate passengers and their luggage.  Until full station services have been restored, passengers are asked to purchase their tickets on board the train.
