Temporary schedule changes to VIA's Churchill to Winnipeg Service

Updated schedule for Train 692

Winnipeg – June 2, 2011- VIA Rail Canada wishes to advise travellers that the schedule for its southbound Churchill to Winnipeg train has been adjusted in keeping with the summer track improvement and upgrading work taking place by the track owner, (HBR) Hudson Bay Railway.  Communities between Churchill and The Pas should take special note of the train’s new departure times.  

In order to accommodate the summer track improvement program beginning June 4, VIA’s southbound train 692 schedule will be adjusted as follows:

Listed below is the new schedule for affected communities.

The HBR has advised that it anticipates other delays during the next 2-3 weeks as the ground thaws and track work progresses.
