High Demand for Seats with Snow and Freezing Rain Forecast for Ontario and Quebec


Montréal, February 23, 2016 – Heavy snow, freezing rain and rain are in the forecast for much of southern and eastern Ontario and Quebec tomorrow and Thursday. Knowing that travel throughout the region will be challenging, VIA Rail says it is once again ready to help travellers outsmart winter. The company indicated that it will add capacity where possible to meet the demand, but urges passengers to book as early as possible and to verify departure and arrival times of trains in the affected regions.
