• Save an additional 10% on the best available fare in the class of your choice for travel anywhere on the VIA Rail network.
• Each e-coupon is valid for one (1) one-way or round trip ticket.
• Offer is valid for travel until December 14, 2009 (inclusive).
• Tickets must be purchased online at viarail.ca and cannot be purchased at a travel agent or tour operator.
• Advance ticket purchase is not required, but recommended as the number of seats available under this promotion is limited. Offer is subject to availability.
• Limit of one e-coupon per e-mail address. This e-coupon can only be used once.
• Once your ticket has been purchased, your e-coupon serial number cannot be reactivated and will become null and void should you cancel your ticket.
• You do not have to surrender your e-coupon at the time of ticket issuance, as control is completely automated.

Exchanges and refunds

• Your ticket will be considered purchased once your online transaction has been completed.
• Your ticket is subject to all of the conditions and restrictions of the fare plan to which the 10% discount is being applied.
• If you already have tickets issued under another fare plan or promotion, and wish to exchange them to take advantage of this offer, any service charges applicable to your original tickets will be collected before your new tickets are issued.

Other promotions

• This offer cannot be combined with any other coupon, discount or promotion.
• In particular, the offer does not apply to corporate, convention, group or other special fares, to block booking, to employee rail passes, to travel passes or to tickets purchased using a travel pass, including, but not limited to BizPak, Corridorpass or Canrailpas, or to tickets obtained free of charge in exchange for VIA Préférence points.

• Log in with your RESERVIA profile or create one prior to booking.
• Choose your desired booking class in the "Select class and fare plan" drop-down menu for your chosen departure and, if applicable, your return. Then proceed as usual with your booking.
• On the "Passengers Information" screen, select “E-Coupon” in the "Discount Type" field.
• Enter 11801 as the "Discount Code".
• Enter the unique 9-digit serial number appearing on your e-coupon in the "Serial Number" field. Your fare will be automatically adjusted if your trip meets the conditions of this promotion.
